Melbourne

Hospitality in Melbourne was courtesy of my brother, Frank, and his beautiful wife, Lorna. The crew also included Lorna's niece, Shalina, and Shalina's daughter, Julia.

Melbourne is where we lived for a few years, and I enjoyed wandering around. Beth, our daughter, showed us around the Chapel Street Bazaar, in Prahran, a fascinating shop  filled with bizarre bits and bobs from years past.

In the beginning...

So, after we'd been back in Hobart for about 6 months, we decided to do a reprise of our time on the mainland, and catch up with friends and family at the same time.
We set off on the long drive from Hobart to Devonport, on 4th June, or thereabouts, to board the Spirit of Tasmania, the ferry that would cross the Bass Strait to Melbourne.
